How to Remove Shortcut Arrow in Windows 10 / 11
Using Registry Editor
Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type "regedit" and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Navigate to the following location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
Right-click on the "lnkfile" folder and select "New" > "String Value".
Name the new string value "IsShortcut" (without the quotes).
Double-click on the newly created "IsShortcut" value and set its value data to "0" (without the quotes).
Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
Restart your computer to see the changes.
