How To Use Another Computer Using Google Chrome Remote Desktop

Google provides a remote desktop solution called "Chrome Remote Desktop" that allows you to access and control another computer or device remotely through the Google Chrome browser.

Here's how to set up and use Chrome Remote Desktop:

  1. Install the Chrome Remote Desktop extension in the Google Chrome browser on both the computer you want to access remotely and the computer you will use to access it.

  2. Follow the prompts to authorize Chrome Remote Desktop to access your Google Account.

  3. On the computer you want to access remotely, launch the Chrome Remote Desktop app and follow the instructions to enable remote connections.

  4. On the computer you will use to access the remote computer, launch the Chrome Remote Desktop app, select the remote computer from the list of available devices, and enter the access code provided by the remote computer.

  5. Once connected, you can control the remote computer as if you were sitting in front of it.

Note that both computers must be connected to the internet for Chrome Remote Desktop to work. Also, ensure that the remote computer is turned on and not in sleep mode or hibernation.
